Recipe: Millet Pie
-1 cup millet, soaked in water overnight
-3 cups water
-1 pear or apple, chopped
-1 tablespoon ghee
-2 cups berries, frozen
-2 tablespoons grade B maple syrup
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Rinse millet well in water.
Boil millet in 3 cups of water with pear for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Stir in ghee.
Mix berries, maple syrup and vanilla extract in blender for a minute.
Spread millet in baking dish and cover with berry mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
