Spiced Porridge 

1 serving

1 - 2 teaspoons ghee
1 pinch of Celtic sea salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of cardamom and nutmeg 
2 tablespoons Basmati or Jasmine rice
2 tablespoons oats or buckwheat 
1 - 2  dates, chopped
1 teaspoon flax or chia seeds
2 cups water

 

In a small pot, warm the ghee. Add salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. Simmer until the aroma from the spices comes up. Add the rice, oats, and dates, stir to coat, and simmer for  1 more minute.
Add water and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes in a covered pot. Stir every 5 minutes. 
Serve Warm.
